Giò Marconi Gallery was founded in 1990 by Giò Marconi. The new space, initially directed by Gio and his father Giorgio (founder of Studio Marconi, which opened in 1965), pay attention to the proposed future generations while continuing to offer the historic artists of the Studio Marconi. The Marconi Foundation Modern and Contemporary Art is responsible for the development of some important collections of funds and 900 artists, from Man Ray to Sonia Delaunay, by Lucio Fontana, Gianni Colombo, Mario Schifano Enrico Baj and Emilio Tadini, with the organization of exhibitions at its headquarters in Via Tadino 15 and collaborating with museums and public and private institutions.
