The Foundation handles many social services, while respecting the dignity of the person and the duty of social solidarity, providing support to people in difficulty, and individual freedom of choice between the benefits to be paid. The association provide beds in dormitories, canteens and medical ambulatories for those who need.The dorms, places long associated with the reception of desperate immigrants and confused, now representing an impressive number of fellow citizens that the frenzy has collapsed on him. Now the "stereotype" is that man in his fifties, separate food to pass to his wife and children, but suddenly precarious after the company where he worked for a living was bought by a multinational with the logic of "cutting the staff and production shifted to the east.
