The Museo del Novecento, Milan is a gallery exhibition of crafted works of art of the twentieth century. The headquarters of the museum is located in the building dell'Arengario following the decision of the municipal administration, and was inaugurated in December 2010. The work of restructuring has been carried out only by Italo Rota and Fabio Fornasari..The Arengario facade has been only a restoration, and modernization work took place inside is completely changed from the original condition. The stated objectives were to provide a museum can take full advantage of the spaces offered by the former building, to do what has been inserted into a spiral ramp to the lift, which takes visitors up to the rooftop terrace directly from the Metro. The Piazza del Duomo is clearly visible from the terrace, but also from the staircase through a large window and a covered balcony. The museum is also connected to a walkway outside the Royal Palace through suspension.
