The Dutch Waling Boers, co-director of Boers-Li Gallery. Boers- Li Gallery is the gallery initially founded by Pi Li and Waling Boers in 2005 as UniversalStudios-beijing. Occupying an old industrial building located in Caochangdi. The gallery program is not media-specific and shows installation, sculpture, painting, paper works, audio works, photography, video, film and performances. Every year 4-6 solo exhibitions are realized, often focusing on cultural differences and exchange. Additionally, the production of new works and installations is strongly supported. As a private gallery, Boers-Li Gallery supports a select group of young artists by representing their works from an early point and making the production of new work possible.
