While I was in China for work, I received a call from my sister, Dad had broken his femur. Now slower reflexes in turn lost his balance. He was taken to hospital where doctors operated his bone. The operation went well, but he was terrified. They changed the medicines and its tenuous balance was missing. The real problem was that the healthy leg had lost the strength to support my father. He was no longer able to stand up. I went to visit him at Christmas, just got back in Italy.
